Ring Care

Ceramic / Tungsten Rings

If you are unable to remove a stuck ring or if you experience swelling, numbness, or discoloration of your finger, stop attempting removal immediately and contact emergency services or seek medical assistance. Do not attempt to cut or force the ring off yourself.

  • Cleaning: Use mild soap and lukewarm water with a soft cloth or a very soft-bristled toothbrush. Gently clean the surface, especially around the inlay. Do not use any abrasive cleaners, pastes, or ultrasonic cleaners, as these can scratch or loosen the resin and damage the finish.
  • Drying: After cleaning, immediately dry your ring with a lint-free or microfiber cloth. Do not let moisture sit, as trapped water can damage the resin or seep into the inlay.
  • Chemical Protection: Avoid exposing your ring to harsh chemicals, including cleaning agents, bleach, acetone, hand sanitizer, and perfumes, as these substances can weaken or stain the resin and degrade the strength and sheen of the inlay. Remove your ring before household cleaning or swimming in chlorinated pools.
  • Heat and Sunlight: Keep your ring away from sources of high heat, such as stovetops or car dashboards. Prolonged exposure can cause resin to yellow, soften, or cloud over time, even if it is UV-resistant.
  • Physical Activity: Remove your ring before engaging in sports, manual work, gardening, or any activity that might impact or scratch the ring. Both ceramic and resin are durable but can still crack, chip, or scratch under forceful impacts.
  • Storage: When not wearing your ring, store it in a dry, cool, dark place. Use a cloth pouch or jewelry box to protect it from scratches and prevent other jewelry from bumping into the resin inlay.
  • Water Exposure: Occasional handwashing is fine, but do not wear your ring for swimming, bathing, or when using hot tubs, as prolonged water exposure may weaken the inlay over time. Always dry thoroughly after contact with water.

Long-Term Durability: With proper care, your ceramic or tungsten ring with resin inlay will remain beautiful for years. If the resin does become dull or scratched over time, contact your jeweler—they may be able to repolish or refinish the ring, or recommend safe at-home solutions.

Following these instructions will help preserve the beauty and durability of your ceramic or tungsten ring with resin inlay for many years.

Titanium Rings

If you are unable to remove a stuck ring or if you experience swelling, numbness, or discoloration of your finger, stop attempting removal immediately and contact emergency services or seek medical assistance. Do not attempt to cut or force the ring off yourself.

  • Cleaning: Use mild soap and warm water with a soft, lint-free cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Gently wipe the ring, focusing on the resin inlay and any crevices. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaning products, especially around the resin.Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue, and immediately dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Do not air-dry, as this may leave spots or streaks.
  • Polishing: Periodically, use a jewelry polishing cloth designed for delicate metals to restore shine. For the resin inlay, never use metal polish, toothpaste, or any abrasive substance—a gentle wipe is all that’s needed.
  • Water & Chemicals: Occasional handwashing is fine, but avoid swimming, bathing, or prolonged exposure to water especially with harsh chemicals like chlorine, acetone, or household cleaners. Remove your ring before dealing with any of these, as titanium is corrosion-resistant but resin can be damaged.
  • Heat & Sunlight: Store your ring away from extreme heat. Extended exposure can cause resin inlays to yellow or degrade.
  • Physical Activity: Take off your ring before strenuous activity, sports, or work involving impact or abrasion. Titanium is strong but can be scratched or dented, and resin may be chipped.
  • Storage: Keep your titanium resin ring in a dry, cool place, preferably in a cloth pouch or jewelry box. This prevents scratches and protects the inlay from damage caused by contact with other jewelry.

Long-Term Durability: With proper care, your titanium ring with resin inlay will remain beautiful for years. If the resin does become dull or scratched over time, contact your jeweler—they may be able to repolish or refinish the ring, or recommend safe at-home solutions.

Following these instructions will help preserve the beauty and durability of your titanium ring with resin inlay for many years.

Silver Care

Silver Jewelry
  • Wear Often: Wearing your silver jewelry regularly helps slow the tarnishing process as natural skin oils protect the metal’s shine.
  • Keep Silver Dry: Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising. Water, humidity, and sweat can accelerate tarnishing.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Protect your jewelry from exposure to harsh chemicals—like household cleaners, perfume, lotions, bleach, and hair products. Put jewelry on last after applying cosmetics to minimize exposure.
  • Regular Cleaning: Clean with a soft, lint-free or microfiber cloth designed for silver. For deeper cleaning, mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water, soak briefly, then gently scrub with a soft-bristled toothbrush if needed.Rinse well and dry immediately with a soft cloth—never air dry as this may leave water spots or hasten tarnish. For stubborn tarnish, use a silver polishing cloth or a quality silver cleaner, but avoid frequent use; harsh polishes and “dip” cleaners can damage delicate silver over time. *avoid getting the polish on the resin inlay*
  • Proper Storage: Store each piece separately in a dry, cool place in an airtight bag or a jewelry box lined with anti-tarnish cloth.Consider adding anti-tarnish strips, silica gel packs, or even chalk to absorb moisture and reduce tarnish.
  • Sun & Heat: Keep silver out of direct sunlight and extreme heat as this can speed up tarnish and discoloration.
  • Professional Care: For heavily tarnished or intricate designs, seek professional cleaning—especially if home methods can't restore shine or you worry about damaging stones or details.
Gold Plated Jewelry

Wear Gently:
Gold plated jewelry is beautiful, but the gold layer is delicate. To help the finish last, avoid rough wear and remove pieces before sleeping or doing strenuous activities.

Keep Gold Plated Jewelry Dry:
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, washing hands, or exercising. Water, humidity, soaps, and sweat can cause gold plating to fade, tarnish, or wear away quickly.

Avoid Chemicals:
Protect your jewelry from harsh chemicals—like perfumes, lotions, hairspray, cleaning products, and chlorine. Put jewelry on last after applying cosmetics to limit exposure. Small exposures can accumulate, especially with brass-based jewelry.

Regular Cleaning:
Wipe gold plated pieces gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and residue. For a deeper clean, use a soft, lint-free (preferably microfiber) cloth very lightly dampened with warm water—avoid rubbing or scrubbing. If necessary, use a tiny amount of mild dish soap diluted in water, wipe gently, and rinse quickly. Never soak or aggressively scrub—this will erode the gold layer.

Rinse Well and Dry Immediately:
If using water or a damp cloth, thoroughly dry the jewelry right away with a soft cloth; never air dry, as lingering moisture can dull the finish, especially on brass-based pieces.

No Abrasives, No Polish:
Never use jewelry or metal polish, sonic cleaners, or abrasive pads—even those meant for gold—on gold plated jewelry. These will damage or strip the plating, especially if there are inlays or delicate details. Avoid getting any cleaning agent on resin inlays or stones.

Proper Storage:
Store each gold plated piece separately in a dry, cool place, ideally in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box to prevent scratches and tangling. Airtight bags can delay tarnishing. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. For brass-based jewelry especially, consider adding silica gel, chalk, or anti-tarnish strips to absorb moisture.

Sun & Heat:
Keep gold plated jewelry out of direct sunlight and prolonged heat, which can speed up fading, tarnishing, or dulling.

Professional Care:
When gold plating begins to thin or wear, or for intricate pieces, seek professional re-plating or cleaning—especially for pieces with stones, resin, or other delicate details.

Accessories Care

Cufflinks/ Tie Clips/ Golf ball markers

Keep Steel & Resin Inlay Dry:
Remove accessories before swimming, showering, or exposure to prolonged moisture. Water, humidity, and sweat can encourage spots on steel and weaken or cloud the resin inlay over time.

Avoid Chemicals:
Protect your accessories from harsh chemicals—like household cleaners, perfumes, lotions, bleach, and hair products. Chemicals can discolor steel and degrade resin. Add accessories last after applying cosmetics or sprays to minimize exposure.

Regular Cleaning:
Wipe steel and resin inlay gently after each use with a soft, lint-free or microfiber cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a cloth lightly dampened with warm water and a tiny drop of mild dish soap. Gently clean the surface, taking care not to scrub or use abrasives especially on the resin inlay.

Rinse Well and Dry Immediately:
If using water or a damp cloth, dry thoroughly right away with a soft cloth. Never air dry, as moisture may lead to spots, streaks, or resin cloudiness.

No Abrasives or Polish:
Never use metal polish, harsh cleaners, or abrasive pads—these can damage the resin inlay and scratch steel. Avoid getting polish or cleaner on the resin inlay.

Proper Storage:
Store each accessory separately in a dry, cool place—ideally in a pouch or lined box to protect both steel surfaces and resin from scratching or impacts. Airtight bags can help minimize moisture exposure.

Sun & Heat:
Keep steel accessories with resin inlay out of prolonged direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can fade the finish and cause resin discoloration or cloudiness.
